McKeesport Downtown Housing Holiday Health Event
On December 6, 2011 McKeesport Downtown Housing located at 523 Sinclair St. McKeesport, the former McKeesport YMCA, was the place to be for residents and locals looking to receive free flu shots, health screening for blood pressure, pulse oximetry, pulmonary function, bone density, body fat, and Carmon monoxide and refreshments, door prizes, and giveaways.

On Wednesday, June 4, 2008, ACTION-Housing, Inc. celebrated its 51st year of operation. The Annual Meeting, held at the Omni William Penn Hotel Grand Ballroom filled with colleagues, friends, and supporters of ACTION-Housing. The Keynote Speaker, Sheila Crowley, President and CEO of the National Low Income Housing Coalition has 25 years of experience in organizational leadership, direct service, policy advocacy, and scholarship on homelessness and housing. |

Allegheny Council To Improve Our Neighborhoods, “ACTION” Housing, Inc., was formally incorporated in 1957, through a by-laws amendment to it’s predecessor organization, the Pittsburgh Housing Corporation, which was formed in 1928 to address the community’s most critical housing problems through educational, research and advocacy activities.
