Vice President of Finance

ACTION-Housing is seeking a VP Finance to join our growing, diversifying real estate and housing non-profit organization.  The VP Finance will assume a strategic role in providing insight and guidance to the CEO and VP Operations on all financial and investment related activities for the company.  As a member of the executive team,  the VP Finance will provide oversight for accounting, finance, budgeting, and payroll through partnership with the Controller.  Strong Leadership, financial acumen, communication, and negotiation skills are required.

The VP Finance reports to the CEO and works with the CEO and VP Operations to set both short and long term financial objectives, while continuously evaluating the assets and opportunities.  Interact with other functional leaders to provide consultative support to planning initiatives through financial and management information analyses, reports, and recommendations.

Payroll Administrator

The Payroll Administrator position requires an accounting background with 8-10 years of Payroll Management experience with 75 + employees using the ADP Workforce Now payroll platform.   The major responsibilities are:

Process multiple payrolls accurately, timely, & confidentially, and the accounting associated with payroll. 

Other related duties include:  collect and reconcile timesheets, garnishment administration, administer flexible spending accounts, update personnel files, assist with audits & specialized projects.  Must be accurate, detail oriented, and have strong follow through skills.  Must have the ability to prioritize, multi-task, and strong customer service skills.

Accounts Payable Coordinator

ACTION-Housing is seeking an Accounts Payable Coordinator.  Requires accounting background with proven Accounts Payable experience.  

Major responsibilities are weekly Accounts Payable processing, follow-up, and associated accounting entries and reports. 

Other related duties include: W-9 collection and maintenance of files, Year-end 1099 processing, collection and maintenance of subcontractor insurance certificates, annual Accounts Payable audit schedules, and other projects and reports as assigned.  Excel, Word, Data Entry, and Accounting Software experience is required (Blackbaud is a plus).  Must be accurate, detail oriented, and have strong follow through skills.  Must have the ability to prioritize, multi-task, and respond to ad-hoc requests.  Minimum of Associate Degree in Accounting and 3-5 years of Accounts Payable experience.
