Bartko Foundation - Marilyn Hopkins, Grantee

On November 8, 2007, Marilyn Hopkins, Accounting Assistant for ACTION-Housing, Inc., was notified of her award status for the 2007 funding round of the Bartko Foundation (http://www.bartkofoundation.com). The Bartko Foundation mission is to make investments in single minority mothers in their quest to secure and maintain self-sufficiency. Marilyn was presented with two checks, one for the purchase of a DELL laptop computer, and one for her remaining semester at Saint Leo University, so that she may complete her Masters Degree in Business with an emphasis on accounting.
